I purchased a yearbook a long time ago, but still within the last year. Why have I not received it?

Because of the way the yearbook is published, the books for each year will be printed in the late fall of the year of graduation, so should be expected before the start of each new year. (i.e. The 2010 yearbook is printed and published by November of 2010, and will be shipped during that month.) The books are printed and shipped directly from the publishing company to the addresses provided by the students to the university and to our organization, as their permanent addresses. This will be the same address to which their senior portrait proofs were sent. If the books are returned to our office for an inability to be delivered, there is a $5 reshipment fee that we must implement to get the book to the proper address. For more information on this, or how to purchase a yearbook, please visit the "order" tab above.

I have moved and need the change the address to which my yearbook or senior portraits will be sent. How do I do this?

All you need to do is email your name and new address to nucauldron@yahoo.com, indicating that this is the new shipping information for your account, and we will update the list with our publisher. If the books are past shipdate (usually in mid November of the graduation year), there will be a $5 charge for having the books reshipped to the new address you provide. For more information on this, or how to purchase a yearbook, please visit the "order" tab above.

I am a Northeastern Alum who wants to purchase a yearbook that is not for the current graduation year, can I do this?

Yes! We have extra copies available for most previous year's yearbooks, especially the most recent years. To order one of these books, feel welcome to email us at nucauldron@yahoo.com and ask to be sure we have a copy of the edition for which you are looking. Otherwise, all you will need to do is send our office a check for $65 and indicate which year's book you are interested in purchasing, and to what address you would like the book sent. For more information on this, please visit the "Order" tab above; for the address to which the checks should be sent, please visit the "Contact Us" tab.

I am interested in working on the Cauldron staff, are there positions available?

Yes! We always welcome new faces to our staff, and encourage you to share your ideas and creativity. We try to accommodate many different talents and experience levels including, but not limited to: layout designers, photographers, writers, marketing representatives, etc. Please feel welcome to email us at nucauldron@yahoo.com with any questions, or stop by one of our meetings on Mondays at 7pm in our office at 232 Curry Student Center.

I don't like how my senior portraits came out, can I have them retaken?

We offer senior portraits for four weeks spread throughout each academic year. If you are concerned about your portraits, please schedule an appointment at one of the earlier sessions, so that if they are not what you hoped for, you can reschedule another appointment at a later session. We encourage that all students have their portraits taken through our photographer so that the book is uniform, and so that no errors occur in the communication process. For more information on this, please visit the "Senior Portraits" page.

I had my senior portraits taken a while ago, why have I not received my proofs?

If you have not received your proofs, please call 800-736-4775. The Call Center of McGrath Studios by Lifetouch will confirm your permanent address, request a new set of proofs for you, and provide you with the online proof viewing information.

I received my senior portrait proofs in the mail, but how do I choose which portraits I would like to order and place in the yearbook?

The online proof viewing website is shop.prestigeportraits.com. Using the session number and access code printed on the 4x5 proof that came to you in the mail in your proof pack, you will be able to log on and select which poses you would like to purchase or place in the yearbook. If you prefer, you may also send the proof physically in the mail to the address provided in your proof pack indicating that it is the proof you are selecting for purchase or placement in the yearbook. We can also be contacted by phone at the number above if you prefer to tell us which proof you are selecting in that way.

If I get my senior portraits taken during the later senior portrait sessions, will they still be placed in my graduating year's yearbook?

Yes. You will be able to register for an appointment during the later senior portrait sessions a few weeks prior to the dates of the final senior portrait sessions. For more information, please visit the "Senior Portraits" page.

How do I submit a senior portrait for use in the yearbook that was not taken by the Lifetouch photographers?

Although this complicates things a bit, and we would prefer you use the Lifetouch photographers that we offer without charge, we can accept photos from outside photographers. We prefer the photographs be taken on a blue background, with formal or business attire. To submit a photo of your own, please send to the Cauldron office a digital photo that is 2" x 3", 300 dpi to size. These photos will be due before March 31st.

I think I am a graduating senior, why is my name not on your list?

Not to worry, there are lots of students that are not on the list of graduating seniors that we receive. We only get the updated list once per year, at the start of fall semester- we are never given an updated list. So some of the students that are on the list we are given are inevitably not going to actually graduate during that time, and likewise others will be cleared for graduation and put on the list after we have already been given the list. If you are a graduating senior that has checked with your Dean's Office and Academic Advisers, and are cleared for graduation this spring, you should be all set. As such, you are free to make an appointment to have your senior portraits taken, and will be asked to fill out paperwork to get you into our system as well.

The jostens website says I can only ship to Northeastern University, but I want my order shipped to my own address. How do I accomplish this?

Your order will only be shipped to Northeastern in the event that the address you provide with your billing information is invalid. You will be prompted for your billing and shipping information later in the process.
